forth between shake and not shaking.
As mentioned above by others, issue could be other suspension components as well.
If rotors turn out to be the problem (which was my issue), the 80 to 85 ft lb specification is too much.
Spent months and $$ replacing tie rods, bushings, control arms, even rotors.
Before installing 3rd set, a friend who is an aircraft engineer pointed out the force exerted by 5 "tapered" lug nuts, and suggested torque should be no higher than 65 ft lbs + or -
2 or 3 ft lbs.
Upon that recommendation, problem was solved and warped rotors are no longer an issue.
